The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear

how they feel

In a word... the braces feel... strange, they ache a little but they aren’t as painful as the spacers, it feels like a huge piece of food is caught in my teeth, it’s strange. That’s all for today.

Spacers

If you have ever had braces before you would know that the spacers in the beginning are the WORST part. If you have never had them before they basically wedge your teeth apart; which is just as painful as it sounds. So I have had about 50 drinks from Starbucks and 20 glasses of water to ease the pain, but now I’m cold because all the drinks I got were cold. The only upside is that I'm only have the spacers for a day, but then I’m getting the braces, well this sucks…

Braces

Hello there,

So I have very unfortunate news: I’m getting braces on Tuesday!!!! Yes, I’ve already had them once, so why on earth do I need them again? That’s exactly what I want to know. The worst part is that I’m getting them right around Christmas which means my mouth will be sore as heck for Christmas dinner. The second-to-worst part is that I still have no idea which color I should get and it should match EVERYTHING. The other thing I have to decide is whether to get the regular ones like this:
or to get the ones where the colors go around the braces which i couildnt find a picture of.

SORRY!!! D:

Let me start out by saying I am VERY sorry for not posting anything in almost 20 days, but for some reason teachers always load us up with a gazillion projects and things to think about right before the break, and I really haven’t had much time to update, and I’m afraid that I won’t be updating much over break either because I’m really just going to stay at home all day and play Sims 2, which isn’t very interesting if you’re not the one playing.
I’m going to try to make this post long because it really bugs me when someone hasn’t written on their blog in like a month and then they post like two words and think that it’s okay.
Since it is very close to Christmas I have been thinking about getting and giving. I received lots of great presents from people at school and have teachers and my friends presents, but I still can’t wait till Christmas morning to run (or half-heartedly walk/stumble while still imagining how warm and comfortable my bed was) to the tree. I’ve been really good this year about not opening presents before Christmas (except the ones from my friends, but I needed SOMETHING to hold me over).  The other day though a certain individual confessed that they had only gotten me two things so far, and Christmas is a week away, so I am revising my wish list so she has something to work from.  I really only want gift cards to places and stuff like iTunes and Urban Outfitters.
Something else I’ve been looking at and thinking about recently are my old Christmas classics from when I was a baby; they’re still on an actual VCR! What brought this on is that we watched the new modernized Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and it was awful compared to the old one I used to watch and I became sad for the kids growing up now, who actually watch these new modernized versions. So, I decided to watch the old Rudolph, A Very Merry Cricket (based off of A Cricket in Times Square), and I plan on watching Santa Claus is Coming to Town Frosty the Snowman, and Arthur’s Christmas.
During the next couple weeks I will try to update you on the little things that have been happening to me, but I’m afraid it will be a pretty uneventful 14 days.
If I don’t post again have Merry Christmas.
