The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before

Thoughts On "Vincent" and "Schools Out"

Hello,
Our first item of business today is that it's almost summer! HAGS everyone!!! For those of you that don’t know what that means, it doesn't mean a weird old lady, it means have a great summer. Second item of business is in regard to the title of this blog: my thoughts on the songs “Vincent” and “Schools Out”

The reason I chose Vincent by don McLain is because it has been stuck in my head all day. It is about Vincent Van Gogh, and his life as, not only a painter, but a lover. Here’s a link. It’s kind of an older song, but I still like it. My dad introduced me to it.

The reason I chose “School's Out” by Alice cooper, is because school’s out! That’s basically what the song is about -- freedom! Here’s a link. It's an older rock song that I find to be very catchy, I was introduced to it by the wii game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, which in my opinion, is by far the best version of guitar hero out there. Since it’s in guitar hero it quite obviously has a very strong guitar part, which I love.
